We sang this song before entering the sweat lodges that were part of our vision quest journey. Decades ago it was vision quest that fired my spirit. Now, it’s Ireland. She fires my spirit and feeds my soul. Although I always so look forward to sacred time in Ireland, it’s as essential to me now as it’s ever been.

I need to breathe with sacred earth. I need to be in deep communion with ancestral and otherworld energies. I need to take a break from the angst of our current collective consciousness. I need to feed the Light of my soul and fire my spirit in the power and potency of Ireland’s mystical landscapes.
