Ancestor Wisdom. Faith In Humanity.

The headlines we don’t see.

Arctic Cleanup Removes 130 Tons of Trash, Aims to Improve Cleanups Worldwide.
Brazil’s Government and Indigenous Peoples are Restoring the Amazon rainforest.
Thailand Bans Imports of Plastic Waste.
To Combat Teacher Shortages, a School District in North Carolina’s Most Expensive City is Building Housing for Its Educators.
Democratic Republic of Congo to Create Earth’s Largest Protected Rainforest.
Countries Around the World Lifted Millions Out of Poverty in 2024.
Legal Wins for Climate in Montana and New York.

These headlines are all from January of this year. I easily gathered up twice this number from the good news sources I subscribe to. But most of these stories aren’t even a footnote in the mainstream media. There are people across this nation and around the world dedicating their lives and actions to good works like these. I suspect you are among them. In these times, it’s so important not to lose sight of that.

  1. Yes, it is so important that we share the good news of the goodness of humanity. As we all increase awareness of the presence of goodness we help to lift humanity out of the mire of fear. Thank you for sharing this, Judith.

  2. Hope this works. I haven’t been able to leave comments?
I very much enjoy my Good News Network app. I would like very much if you could share any more good news sites. And thank you so much for all that you do

    • Well, it did work. Lovely. I would also recommend Fix The News. Another great source. As you are commenting anonymously, not sure who you are. But thank you so much for your gracious words.

  3. My, the news is wonderful, is it not? Except, as you note, we don’t hear the news. We don’t hear real news; we hear contrived news, born out of skewed interests and priorities. Sigh. Thanks so much for sharing so much promising accomplishment.
