I love a good story. Currently down a rabbit hole of Earth energies and celestial alignments, I’m reading Pi in the Sky by Michael Poynder. It’s a fabulous book and I know there’s a good story in here somewhere. But based on thirty years of comprehensive and complex research in areas of archaeology, mythology, spirituality, and metaphysics, it’s going to take some doing to weave together the threads of stories I can use in spiritual gatherings and writings. 

I was just reading about the moon’s cycles and energy fields related to the sun’s cycles and energy fields, especially Poynder’s analogy of new moon energy being like a brick that is heated on just one side, when Dennis created this piece. New Moon Rising.

I have many more threads to pull for my stories. But in his art, Dennis tells a story that is as beautiful and compelling as any I might weave with words.

Just trying to heal.

Holding fast the energies of peace and love and hope, we find ways to navigate these trying and tumultuous times. Anchored in the energy of resilience. For me, it’s my writing and graphics. For my husband, it’s his artwork. He just finished and shared this new piece on healing, and I’m inspired to share it with you.

We are alchemists. No. We may not be able to turn base metals into gold. But when we embody the energies of love and joy and peace, our energetic vibrations can touch others and shift their consciousness. And in these times, I would argue that’s as good as gold.

May we raise our vibrations to alchemize this soulless world. And may the sacred in others remember…and awaken. May we embrace our agency for change.

As I get ready to head to Ireland for a few weeks in May, my friends over there are asking three questions. When will you be here? How are you? What the hell is happening in your country? There will be some deep conversations.

Beneath the constant fire hose of alarming atrocities and news stories, there is something happening here. I’m seeing it everywhere, although the media pays little attention. For we are coming together to claim our power. We are coming together, more rooted than ever, in the power we hold and manifest in the world. And that energy, that vibration, is a harmony that sings of hope and renewal. We are reclaiming our sense of who we are. We are reclaiming our country. Rooted in what we value and hold sacred. Rooted in community…in common unity. Rooted in compassion.
