My spiritual faith is my anchor and my inspiration. Yet in these dark and turbulent times, it’s not the only faith I’m holding on to. I’m choosing faith in many things.
I choose faith in:
The majority of voters who did not choose this fascist regime.
Americans who are waking up to the betrayal of this regime.
The deep well of wisdom that nourishes us.
The resistance that is taking shape.
Friends, families, and communities that will
support each other through this storm.
The fundamental values of equality, social justice,
and environmental justice that we share.
The fundamental energies of compassion, love,
joy, and peace that we hold and share.
Yes. There is much to be horrified by and concerned about. Fear is understandable. But fear is paralyzing. And right now we need a movement of resilience, of hope and possibility. So together, let’s choose faith. It is our choice.
Beannacht,
Judith

A god I have to be afraid of? Not happening. What happened to the loving god? We are just so clearly not on the same page.
I stand with you, Judith. I choose faith. I choose your page. Praying while the world burns around us is not the answer. Resilience and hope and possibility! Forward!
Brilliant. Well said! Thank you, Judith.
God deserves respect (awe, we might say) but God is a God of love. In fact, Saint John goes so far as to assert that God is love. I think choosing faith is a good and strengthening to do. And I think you’re right to note, “The deep well of wisdom that nourishes us.” We need to drink from that, i.e., treasure wisdom and what it does for us.
Yes!!
